A powerful theatrical production, Requiem for the Living, will premiere at the National Cultural Centre on Sunday at 8:00 p.m.

The narrative follows two sisters whose childhood experiences continue to shape their personal and professional lives.
Despite their outward success, they struggle with emotional disconnection and conflict, revealing how past wounds can influence the present and future.
The production features a talented cast, including Feliz Robertson, who described her involvement as a significant milestone in her career.
Kelly Asgill, a recent graduate of the National School of Drama, also plays a pivotal role, adding intensity to the performance.
The ensemble cast includes Fredrick Minty, Sheron Taylor, Latefa Agard, and Akeila Agard, further enhancing the production’s depth and complexity.
With over 50 years of experience in theater, director Godfrey Naughton has described the play as an important addition to Guyanese cultural expression.
The production seeks to inspire audiences by addressing universal themes of healing and personal growth, while elevating local theater to new heights.
