Reflecting on the past 365 days, citizens expressed their resolutions for the upcoming year.

Mark Luke-Edwards, a citizen, shared, “I don’t have new year resolutions per se, but I have to be thankful for last year. I had three major productions, and I hope 2024 brings the same.”

Ulele Clarke expressed her desires, saying, “I need my own home, my own husband, a loving and caring one, and a nice job that pays well.”

Another citizen, Gandhi, conveyed a simple yet profound resolution, stating, “New Resolution is the same, to take it each day at a time, KitaKata. That’s all and pray for the best and hope the government could increase the old age pension a little bit for the old people.”

As Guyanese individuals set their intentions for the new year, the diverse range of resolutions reflects the aspirations and hopes of the community.
