The 2025 Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo, scheduled for February 18-21, promises to be a landmark event in the energy sector, spotlighting Guyana’s growth across various industries.
Under the theme “Connecting the Dots: Integrating the Future,” the conference aims to be the most impactful edition yet.
The 4th installment of this premier conference is expected to draw 7,000 delegates, feature over 70 speakers, and include more than 180 booths.
Key topics will encompass a just energy transition, the development of resilient supply chains, and the advancement of women in the energy sector.
New initiatives introduced for this year’s conference include a Conference Village with a farmers’ market and art and crafts vendors, as well as “A Taste of Guyana,” which will highlight the country’s unique cuisine.
Additionally, an energy walk will be organized to enhance participant engagement.
Kiana Wilburg, CEO of the Guyana Energy Conference Secretariat, expressed enthusiasm about the conference’s expanded offerings, noting their focus on creating sustainable economies.
Supporting this broad agenda, Natural Resources Minister Vickram Bharrat emphasized that the conference aligns with the government’s efforts to diversify and strengthen the economy.
To enhance communication and accessibility, a news app and podcast app have been launched, providing reliable and current information about the conference and the energy sector.
The conference will conclude close to Mashramani celebrations, offering delegations the opportunity to experience Guyana’s socio-economic and cultural strengths.
