Guyana to Host CPL Finals in 2025

Guyana is set to host the Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL) finals in 2025, marking the third consecutive year that the country will stage the CPL playoffs and finals.

This announcement was made on Friday evening by President Dr. Irfaan Ali.

As part of a three-year agreement with CPL, the finals will also be held at the iconic Kensington Oval in Barbados in 2026, which will be the first time the event is hosted there.

Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Mottley, expressed her excitement regarding this development.

Pete Russell, the CEO of CPL, highlighted the successful partnership between Guyana and Barbados over the last 12 years, emphasizing the significance of both nations hosting the finals in the coming years.

The announcement reinforces the ongoing commitment to promoting cricket in the region and enhancing the sporting experience for fans and players alike.
