Guyana School of Agriculture Celebrates 58th Graduation Ceremony

In another milestone for the Guyana School of Agriculture (GSA), a new batch of students has successfully graduated, equipped with diplomas and certificates to contribute to the country’s agricultural landscape.

At the GSA’s 58th graduation ceremony, students received Diplomas in Agriculture, Animal Health, and Veterinary Public Health, along with Certificates in Agriculture, Agro Processing, and Forestry.

The graduates are now entrusted with a vital role: supporting the government’s initiative to enhance food production for both national and regional consumption.

Agriculture Minister Zulfikar Mustapha, addressing the graduates, emphasized the importance of their contribution to the diversification and modernization of the food production sector.

He urged them to apply their skills to ensure food security for the nation.

Furthermore, Minister Mustapha assured the graduates of government support for their entrepreneurial endeavors, aiming to boost production and create a conducive environment for their success.

In addition to the graduation ceremony, the GSA marked its 60th anniversary of providing tertiary education and related services.

Over the years, more than 4,000 students have graduated from the institution, contributing significantly to the agricultural sector’s growth and development.
