The Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo is set to take place from February 19–22, 2024, with participation from over 21 countries.
The event, which marks its third installment, will not only focus on the energy sector but will also cover 19 other sectors, providing diverse opportunities for discussions and collaborations.
Kurt Baboolall, the CEO of Guyana, highlighted that the theme of the conference, “Fueling Transformation and Modernization,” reflects the significant economic growth in Guyana over the past three years.
He extended an invitation to businesses of all sizes, entrepreneurs, and families to attend and participate in the event.
Natural Resources Minister Vickram Bharrat emphasized Guyana’s status as one of two hotspots for oil and gas investment globally.
He explained that the conference provides an opportunity for the “ordinary man” to benefit from the ongoing developments in the energy sector.
The conference is expected to feature addresses from various dignitaries, heads of government, and industry leaders.
Among them are President Dr. Irfaan Ali, Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago Dr. Keith Rowley, and Prime Minister of The Bahamas Philip Davis, along with serving ministers and former presidents.
The Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo serve as platforms for discussing key developments, investments, and opportunities in the energy sector while fostering collaboration among international participants.
