The Guyana Harpy Eagles are on the cusp of claiming their first CG United Super 50 Cup title in over a decade after a convincing victory over the Jamaican Scorpions in Trinidad and Tobago.

The win has propelled the Harpy Eagles into the semifinal stage of the competition, igniting hopes of a championship triumph.

Opting to bat first after winning the toss, the Jamaican Scorpions struggled to find their footing, posting a modest total of 184 for 3 in a rain-affected match reduced to 47 overs.

Skipper Rovman Powell (33) and Brad Barnes (36) were the standout performers for the Scorpions, with Chadwick Walton, Nkrumah Bonner, Andre McCarthy, and Odean Smith making contributions in double figures.
