With only 11 days left until the Guyana Harpy Eagles face the Trinidad and Tobago Red Force in the Regional Four-Day Championship, Head Coach Ryan Hercules expresses confidence in the team’s performance.

Despite concerns about the batting unit’s recent struggles in practice matches, Hercules remains optimistic about the upcoming competition.

In response to the low scores in the trial matches, Hercules acknowledges the challenges but emphasizes the learning process for the players.

He hopes to see improved performances in the longer format of the game, and he believes that the addition of Tagenarine Chanderpaul and Kevin Sinclair will provide a significant boost to the batting unit.

Both players, currently in the West Indies team, are expected to contribute their experience to the team.

Notably, the team is without former captain Leon Johnson, who retired.

When questioned about the captaincy, Hercules mentions ongoing discussions and assures that the decision will be made public in due course.

The upcoming Regional Four-Day Championship match holds significance for the Guyana Harpy Eagles, and the team is gearing up for a competitive and challenging tournament.
