Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo 2024 to Foster Sector Inclusivity

Preparations are in full swing for the upcoming Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo 2024, scheduled for next month.

Public Works Minister Juan Edghill emphasized that the event aims to provide all Guyanese with an opportunity to engage in the energy sector.

During a discussion on ‘Energy Perspectives,’ Minister Edghill encouraged local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to register for the conference, urging them to view it as a platform to explore niche markets.

Minister Edghill emphasized the importance of local participation in partnerships and engagements within the energy sector.

He highlighted the enlightening nature of booths and exhibitions, emphasizing the value of networking and information exchange.

President of AmCham Guyana, Devindra Kissoon, commended the government’s efforts in developing an energy mix that could transform various sectors in Guyana.

He noted the conference as an excellent opportunity for companies to network, expressing interest in the benefits of the Gas to Energy project.

Kissoon hinted at potential announcements from companies establishing infrastructure aligned with the government’s initiatives.

The Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo 2024 is scheduled to take place from February 19-22 at the Marriott Hotel under the theme “Fuelling Transformation and Modernization.”
