In the light middleweight 66-71 kg category, GDF’s Christopher Henry achieved a technical knockout against Shawn Rodney of Police Gym in round 2, prompting the referee to stop the fight.

The middleweight 71-75 kg semifinal saw Alex Butcher facing off against GDF gym mate Jamal Booker, with Butcher clinching a points decision victory.

In the quarterfinal of the light heavyweight category (75-80 kg), Malchi Clarke emerged victorious against Joseph George in an all-GDF bout.

Sherwin Gravesande of GDF secured a win in his semifinal clash against Republican Boxing Gym’s Kevin Neil.

Soldier Zidhan Wray also triumphed over Leandra Abrams of Police Gym in their super heavyweight (92+ kg) match-up. Guyana Defense Force’s Rayan Harry finished strong, outboxing Oswald Yaw in their super heavyweight clash, contributing to a dominant night for the GDF gym led by former boxer and three-star coach Terrence Poole.
