Guyana has successfully defended their title, securing their fourth consecutive senior Caribbean Area Squash Association (CASA) championship over the weekend at the Georgetown Club on Camp Street.

The host nation once again demonstrated their squash prowess, dominating both the women’s and men’s team competitions.

The impressive performances from the Guyanese teams solidified their reputation as a formidable force in Caribbean squash.

In the women’s division, Guyana faced stiff competition from Barbados.

Despite initial setbacks, key players such as Ashley Khalil and Ashley DeGroot rallied to secure crucial victories.

The Wiltshire sisters, Larissa and Akeila, also played pivotal roles in the team’s overall success.

On the men’s side, Team Guyana triumphed over Trinidad & Tobago, continuing their winning streak.

Led by standout players Daniel Ince and Shomari Wilshire, the team showcased their skill and determination, earning their eighth team title in the history of the senior CASA championships.

With a total of 15 medals, Guyana has cemented its position as a dominant force in Caribbean squash. The team now looks forward to future competitions with confidence and resolve.
