President Irfaan Ali says his government is working on a series of new measures to ensure that childcare services are more accessible, especially for parents seeking to pursue their professional and academic goals.

The Head of State made this announcement while addressing residents during his trip to Region Six.

He assured that Government will unveil initiatives to expand childcare facilities and create business opportunities for individuals trained under the GOAL scholarship programme in childcare services.

President Irfaan Ali says these measures are being developed since there are also many parents are forced to stay home to care for their children with special needs.

The new tax measures will therefore help ease that burden and ensure those children receive proper care.
