Last year, Early Childhood Development Centres were constructed at Diamond and Anna Catherina, providing day and night care services to working parents.

Hundreds of persons were also trained and supported in opening home-based childcare facilities.

The Government says it will continue these investments, which form part of a long-term strategy to build stronger families, safer communities, and a more inclusive society as Guyana moves forward.
