The Guyana Football Federation has unveiled the squad for the Golden Jaguars as they prepare for their upcoming Concacaf Nations League matches.
The team will compete against Suriname and Martinique on September 5 and 9, respectively.
Included in the 24-man squad is Isaiah Jones of Middlesbrough FC, who is set to make his debut for Guyana.
Jones joined Middlesbrough from Tooting & Mitcham in 2019 and has had previous loan spells with St Johnstone and Queen of the South before making his league debut in August 2021.
The Golden Jaguars are eager to make an impact in League A of the 2024/25 Concacaf Nations League.
Other notable players in the squad include Curtez Kellman, Colin Nelson, Jeremy Garrett, Liam Gordon, Samuel Cox, Ryan Hackett, Kelsey Benjamin, Omari Glasgow, and Daniel Wilson.
The Concacaf Nations League, now in its fourth edition, features 41 men’s senior national teams and will take place during the FIFA Match Windows of September, October, and November 2024, with the Finals scheduled for March 2025.
Guyana’s match against Suriname will be held on September 5 at 4:00 PM at the National Track & Field Centre in Leonora.
The team will then travel to face Martinique on September 9.
