The Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMRSC) is gearing up for its first circuit race event of 2024, promising a thrilling showcase of skill and speed at the South Dakota Circuit on Sunday, April 21st.

One of the highlights of the event will be the participation of Team CAMS (Caribbean American Motor Sports), bringing a formidable 10-driver contingent to the track.

CAMS, a familiar presence in the local motorsport scene, is determined to make a statement and build momentum towards their goal of dominating at the November meet.

Afraz Allie, president of CAMS, expressed their commitment to enhancing their performance and fine-tuning their machines throughout the year, aiming to secure the championship title.

Despite facing challenges in the past, CAMS drivers are eager to showcase their competitiveness and challenge for victory on race day.

Joining the lineup is Darthan Racing, represented by Paul Jiwanram, Azaad Hassan, and Troy Muir.

Jiwanram, the reigning Street Tuner Champion, is driven by his determination to defend his title and secure another championship victory.

Hassan, known for his speed and agility, aims to add more victories to his impressive track record, while Muir, the 2022 Street Tuner Champion, is ready to stake his claim as one of the top drivers in the championship.

The event promises adrenaline-fueled action and intense on-track battles as drivers from both teams vie for supremacy on the circuit.

With a mix of experience, skill, and competitive spirit, spectators can expect an electrifying showcase of motor racing prowess.
