The Giving Hope Foundation is extending a helping hand to the community by providing free cancer screening services this month.
Executive Member of the Foundation, Dave Lalltoo, announced a series of outreach events as part of their calendar of activities.
The outreach events aim to offer cancer screening services, sip and paint sessions for patients, as well as wellness and networking events designed to pamper patients and survivors.
The first outreach will be held in Bartica, followed by a second event in Berbice on October 15th, and a “Look Good Feel Better” event on October 19th.
During the “Look Good Feel Better” event, cancer patients and survivors will receive healthy baskets and makeup sessions, with support from professionals in the fashion industry.
Lalltoo emphasized the critical importance of early detection in the fight against cancer.
The Giving Hope Foundation will also collaborate with GTT for the Pinktober walk on October 29, further promoting awareness and early intervention.
These initiatives highlight the Foundation’s commitment to providing essential support and services to those affected by cancer, while emphasizing the life-saving impact of early detection.
