GEF-SGP Jingle Competition Relaunched: “Thinking Globally, Acting Locally”

The Global Environment Facility – Small Grants Program (GEF-SGP) has relaunched its jingle competition, encouraging participants to craft original jingles that embody the theme “Thinking Globally, Acting Locally.”

This initiative provides a creative platform for individuals to express their interpretation of the GEF-SGP’s mission and objectives through catchy and impactful jingles.

Participants are invited to create jingles lasting between 1 to 2 minutes.

These jingles should reflect the essence of the GEF-SGP’s theme and accurately represent its goals of environmental conservation, sustainable development, and poverty reduction. All entries must be original and free from copyright infringement.

The competition, which is part of a broader knowledge management project, aims to find innovative ways to promote the GEF-SGP program and its international grants.

Devin Sears, Chairman of the RTTC, emphasized the importance of the competition in raising awareness about the UNDP SGP program and its contributions to community-based projects.

The deadline for submissions is September 15.

The first-place winner will receive a laptop, providing them with a valuable tool for their daily activities.

Other attractive prizes are also available for the most compelling jingles.

The GEF-SGP jingle competition underscores the program’s commitment to engaging communities in global environmental efforts while supporting local actions.
