Fraud Charges for Taxi Driver

David Singh, a taxi driver, has been charged with fraud amounting to 2.8 million dollars.

Allegedly, between March 1 and July 26, Singh conspired to defraud Puntie Kunar, promising assistance in acquiring a plot of land from the Central Housing and Planning Authority.

He pleaded not guilty and has been granted 150,000 dollars’ bail.

His next court appearance is scheduled for November 15.
