Trinidad and Tobago’s Franklyn Boodram is set to showcase his skills behind the wheel of his Renault Sport R.S. 01 at the highly anticipated Caribbean Clash of Champions motor racing event at the South Dakota circuit on Sunday, November 5.
Boodram’s car, a 550hp, Nissan-powered, 7-speed, carbon-bodied vehicle, is a powerhouse on the track.
Despite his confidence, Boodram acknowledges the advantage that local drivers like Andrew King, Mark Vieira, and Vishok Persaud may have on their home turf.
While Boodram believes that current track record holder Mark Maloney will put up a strong fight, he remains focused on preparing his Renault Sport to its peak condition for the race.
The event promises high-octane action, with drivers from Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, and Canada going head-to-head with Guyana’s top drivers.
The action kicks off at 11 am on Sunday.
