Twelve activities are planned for a four-day period, starting from Friday, June 30, 2023, in Linden, to celebrate this year’s Riverfront Festival.
The Riverfront festival celebrates riverfronts in the town highlighting their beauty, significance and potentials.
Its Coordinator, Samuel Wright, conceived the idea back in 2015 to boost tourism and develop the town of Linden.
This year, the Festival will get underway on Friday, June 30th, with the customary riverfront forum- a platform to discuss developments of the town’s riverfront.
Later in the evening, patrons will enjoy socializing with wine and snacks at the West Watooka Riverfront.
Activities will continue throughout the weekend with Market Day, a Fishing Competition, a Bicycle Parade and Kids’ fest on Saturday.
On Sunday, Sports Enthusiasts can look forward to the Prime Minister’s Cycling Sprint Competition and Softball Cricket.
Activities conclude on Monday, July 3, with family events including Regatta and Food Fair.
