The first mock exam for the 2024 National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA) has been successfully completed, according to Education Minister Priya Manickchand.
The pupils participated in English, Science, Mathematics, and Social Studies papers during the mock exam.
Education Minister Manickchand revealed that a second mock exam is scheduled for March, providing additional preparation for the NGSA set to take place on the second and third of May.
Results from the exams are expected to be available on or before July 10.
Minister Manickchand emphasized the importance of parents’ involvement in their children’s preparation for the assessment.
She urged parents to make use of the available resources to ensure that students are fully prepared for the NGSA in May.
