The Bartica Mayor & Town Council, in collaboration with the Bartica Regional Hospital and the Regional Democratic Council, successfully hosted its first Health Fair in the Township of Bartica. This recent event, marked a historic moment in the going efforts in that Region to promote wellness, awareness, and accessible healthcare for all.

This landmark initiative brought together residents, families, and healthcare professionals in a united effort to prioritize community health with many residents benefitting from a wide range of health services such as screenings, consultations, counselling, and also vital information aimed at preventing illness and promoting healthier lifestyles.

In a statement, the Mayor & Town Council of Bartica said “It is our firm belief that every resident, regardless of location or circumstance, deserves equal access to health education and services. As we extend the Health Fair across the township, our commitment to improving health outcomes and fostering a culture of wellness remains unwavering…Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to the doctors, nurses, public health workers, support staff, volunteers, and administrative teams who worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth execution of this outreach.”

According to the Mayor & Town Council of Bartica, given the overwhelming success of this inaugural activity, this initiative will continue throughout all Avenues in Bartica.
