According to information relayed to them, the workers reportedly encountered a beehive while clearing the area and attempted to get rid of it by setting it alight. The fire is said to have spread rapidly, eventually igniting the warehouse.

The proprietors stated that the full extent of the damage has not yet been determined, but preliminary estimates place the losses in the millions of dollars.

They emphasised that the exact cause of the fire has not been officially confirmed and that, at this stage, the information remains hearsay pending investigations by the relevant authorities.
