Scores of enthusiastic fans gathered at the Republic Bank parking lot on Main Street this morning for a meet and greet with their favorite players from the Guyana Amazon Warriors.
The event provided fans with an exciting opportunity to interact with members of the Warriors franchise, take photos, and collect autographs.
Many attendees took the chance to reminisce about key moments from the tournament and share their thoughts and advice with the players.
Jonelle Dummett, the Marketing and Communication Manager for Republic Bank, the event’s title sponsor, explained that the meet and greet was part of their initiative to give back to customers and the community.
She noted that alongside activities at the stadium during the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), the bank aimed to enhance fan engagement outside the games.
In addition to interacting with the players, fans participated in novelty games, offering them a chance to win CPL merchandise from Republic Bank.
The Guyana Amazon Warriors have built a reputation for having a passionate fan base, and the impressive turnout today further underscored this dedication.
Fans are now eagerly anticipating this weekend’s matches at Providence.
