ExxonMobil U-14 Football Tournament Kicks Off with Exciting Matches

The much-anticipated ExxonMobil Under-14 Boys’ and Girls’ Football Tournament kicked off on Monday with over 20 games played at the Ministry of Education ground.

Defending champions, Bartica Secondary, wasted no time asserting their dominance in the boys’ division, securing a 3-0 victory over L’Adventure Secondary.

Jaden Christian opened the scoring in the 4th minute, followed by goals from Ray Spencer in the 15th minute and Lenny Skeete in the 30th minute.

Another convincing win came from Three Mile Secondary’s boys’ team, defeating VYC Academy 5-0.

Adrian Stoby, Eric Stephen, LeBron Mendonca, Malique Ambrose, and Sergio Deagrella all contributed goals for Three Mile.

The girls’ category also saw some decisive victories.

Bartica Secondary’s girls defeated Bush Lot Secondary 4-0, led by a doubleheader from Nerismar Williams and goals from Keysi Austin.

Three Mile Secondary’s girls also secured a win against East Ruimveldt Secondary with goals from Arianna Stoby and Zalina Jones.

Other notable winners on the first day included Marian Academy, Tucville Primary (Girls), St. John’s Secondary (Boys), and East Ruimveldt (Boys).

The ExxonMobil U-14 tournament promises exciting matches as student athletes from various schools compete for the championship title.
