As preparations for the International Building Expo 2023 gain momentum, exhibitors are being encouraged to register early to avoid last-minute rush.
Minister within the Ministry of Housing and Water, Susan Rodrigues, recently conducted a walk-through of the venue, the Guyana National Stadium, where she emphasized the transformation that will take place to accommodate the event.
Scheduled to be held from August 24 to 27 under the theme “Building for All, One Guyana Many Opportunities,” the Building Expo promises to be a grand showcase of more than 300 international and local companies, all in one location.
Exhibitors will have the opportunity to present their finest products and services to thousands of patrons during the four-day event.
Minister Rodrigues announced that almost 50% of the booths have already been sold, underscoring the high interest and participation from companies eager to engage with the audience.
Moreover, Minister Rodrigues stressed the importance of involving small businesses in the expo, recognizing that the event presents an exceptional growth opportunity for them.
The Building Expo will provide a unique platform for networking and collaboration, with the participation of numerous regional and foreign companies alongside local exhibitors.
Anticipation for the expo has been high, driven by the success of last year’s Building Expo, which attracted over 100,000 local and overseas visitors. The 2022 exposition featured 356 companies, highlighting the event’s significant impact on the business community and the broader economy.
As the date draws nearer, the International Building Expo 2023 promises to be a dynamic event, fostering connections, presenting new opportunities, and showcasing the advancements in the construction and housing sectors.
