From handmade crafts to cutting-edge technology, the event is a key platform for small businesses in Guyana to expand their reach and connect with potential customers.

Leisa Gibson, from Leisa’s Salon & Beauty Supplies, shared her excitement about the new products this year, including Yoni Oil and soaps tailored for both women and men.

She highlighted the popularity of their botanical body oil as a customer favorite.

Dennis Charran, CEO of Comfort Sleep Inc. Guyana, expressed pride in promoting locally made products, emphasizing that the quality of Guyanese goods surpasses that of imports.

He stressed the importance of changing the perception of local products.

In the infrastructure sector, Mahadeo Panchu, Director and CEO of KSM Investment Inc., displayed their high-quality, rust-resistant steel doors, underscoring the importance of durable materials and superior finishes.

The Tourism Village at GuyExpo is also attracting attention, with Shirley Melville of Rupununi Adventures promoting Mount Roraima tours and locally made indigenous artifacts.

She offers personalized tour packages, catering to various interests like kayaking and waterfall visits.

Fashion designers like Celina Adams are showcasing vibrant collections that blend traditional and modern styles, using the event as an opportunity to celebrate Guyanese culture through fashion.

With a lively atmosphere and a broad variety of exhibits, GuyExpo 2024 is shaping up to be a memorable experience for both vendors and visitors.
