Scheduled for the Pre-Emancipation Day meet are eight thrilling races, with the renowned Guyana Cup winner, Alado, among the competitors.
With a total prize pool of nearly 10 million dollars, the one-mile feature event’s winner will take home an impressive two million dollars. Additionally, the co-feature race promises an exciting showdown, with the victors riding off with 1.6 million dollars.
Nicholas Patrick, the jockey for “Amazing Grace” from the esteemed Walrond Racing Stables, is all set for the event, exuding confidence as he prepares to guide his horse to victory, eyeing the prestigious trophy and a generous cash prize.
The action-packed race card also includes the G & Lower, J Open, three-year-old Guyana-bred maiden, L Open, E Class open, and North American non-winners in Guyana. Among these, the G & Lower race stands out as the third race of the day, offering a coveted million-dollar prize for the top horse.
