Final preparations are in full swing for GuyExpo 2024, set to open on Thursday, November 14, at the National Exhibition Centre, Sophia.

Known as Guyana’s premier trade and cultural showcase, the event is expected to draw thousands of visitors eager to experience the best of the country’s products, services, and creative industries.

Exhibitors are putting the finishing touches on their booths while workers finalize stages and infrastructure across the venue.

The Sophia Complex has been transformed into a vibrant hub, adorned with colorful tents, banners, and promotional materials, all set to welcome attendees.

This year’s event, themed “Guyana on Show: The Fastest Growing Economy,” will feature over 210 exhibitors, including local businesses, government agencies, and NGOs.

Displays will highlight a diverse range of sectors, such as manufacturing, technology, tourism, arts and crafts, and horticulture.

GuyExpo Committee member Alison Parker emphasized the event’s expanded scope, noting that it provides an excellent platform for businesses to connect with patrons and showcase their offerings.

Admission is set at $500 per person, with free entry for children under 10.

A kid-friendly zone will ensure families enjoy the event together.

As one of the largest trade shows in the country, GuyExpo 2024 promises to be a dynamic representation of Guyana’s growth and innovation.

Attendees are encouraged to explore the exhibits and celebrate the nation’s achievements.
