The Energy and Supply Chain Expo, featuring participation from over 20 countries and 200 businesses, has officially commenced at the Guyana Marriott.
This exposition serves as a platform for showcasing both local and international businesses, providing a comprehensive view of opportunities across various sectors.
NCN News spoke with exhibitors who highlighted the significance of the energy conference in facilitating expansion opportunities.
Kevin Nail, Vice President (Ops) of Cave Holdings, emphasized the interest from the local racing community and heavy equipment suppliers, citing the expo as a pivotal opportunity for collaboration and growth.
Another exhibitor, speaking on behalf of a CNC Machine shop, underscored their involvement in the gas and oil industry, positioning themselves to contribute to Guyana’s energy sector.
Aligned with the theme “Fueling Transformation and Modernization,” exhibitors shared how their services are geared towards innovation and advancement.
For instance, Kevin Nail elaborated on the cutting-edge technology available at the expo, emphasizing its significance in manufacturing parts for the oil and gas industry.
Natasha Gaskin-Peters, Director of the Centre for Development, highlighted the expo as a platform for networking and knowledge-building, facilitating interactions with businesses, both local and international.
The Guyana Energy and Supply Chain Expo will run until Thursday, February 22, offering a diverse range of opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and growth in the energy sector.
