Acting Town Clerk Candace Nelson confirmed that a report of the collapsed roof was received from Market Clerk Sherlock Lovell.
Mayor Alfred Mentor emphasized the urgent need to relocate vendors to ensure their safety.

Initial search and rescue operations, conducted by vendors, resulted in the rescue of four individuals from the rubble.
