In a generous gesture, President Irfaan Ali visited Port Mourant in region six, where he distributed equipment and playing gear to cricket clubs.
The clubs, including Young Warriors Cricket Club and Whim Cricket Club, received lawnmowers, with the expectation that they will assist in maintaining nearby grounds.
President Ali expressed his commitment to fulfilling the needs of the community, emphasizing that Region Six has significantly benefited from the government’s initiatives.
He also applauded the efforts of the Men on Mission team and announced plans for the construction of a boxing gym and ring in the region, slated for completion by year-end.
