The Courts Optical Pee Wee Football Tournament is in full swing, with 16 teams vying for a spot in the quarter-finals at the Ministry of Education ground.
The tournament, organized by the Petra Organization, features the Boys Under 11 football championship on CARFESTA avenue.
After three weeks of intense round-robin action, the top 16 teams, either first or second place finishers, advance to the knockout round.
The matches are set to commence on Saturday at 11 a.m.

- Kabakaburi (2nd in Group G) vs. Redeemer Primary (1st in Group F)
- North Georgetown Primary (1st in Group D) vs. Potaro Primary
- St. John vs. St. Stephens Primary (2nd in Group F)
- FE Pollard vs. Den Amstel (1st in Group B)
- Marian Academy vs. Collaco (Debutants)
- West Ruimveldt vs. Tucville
- St. Pius vs. Friendship (1st in Group I)
- Enterprise (Defending Champions) vs. St. Gabriel’s Primary
The tournament promises exciting matches and showcases the young talent in the region.
The winner will be awarded the Championship trophy, gold medals, and uniforms.
The runner-up and third-place finisher will also receive trophies, along with individual prizes for outstanding players.
The event is supported by the Ministries of Education and Sport, sanctioned by the Guyana Football Federation, and sponsored by Sterling Products Limited and MVP Sports.
The quarter-finals are scheduled for October 21.
