The National Communications Network (NCN) is the state-owned television and radio broadcasting corporation in Guyana. It was formed in 2004 through the merger of the State Radio service, Guyana Broadcasting Corporation(GBC), and the State television service (GTV).

 

NCN has an unmatched broadcasting reach, covering 80% of Guyana’s Radio and Television viewer and listener ship and broadcasts 24 hours daily with programs tailored for every demographic within Guyana. NCN operates three coastal Radio Stations with the reach of:

 

Additionally, NCN operates seven (7) Hinterland community radio stations in the 10 administrative regions. The community stations and areas are; Mahdia, Lethem, Mabaruma, Orealla, Aishalton, Bartica, Paiwomak and Essequibo. Voice of Guyana (VOG) 102.5 FM/560 AM is relayed to all Community Radio stations.

NCN is a stakeholder in regional bodies such as the Caribbean Broadcasting Union (CBU). It is trusted by local and international Companies and Organizations for both the dissemination of information and as an effective marketing vehicle.
