Clarke’s Productions Inc. (CPI), a prominent training company, has launched a new initiative aimed at addressing men’s mental health in Guyana.

The program, aptly titled “Men’s Mental Health,” seeks to dismantle the stigma surrounding mental health issues among men and provide them with the tools needed to navigate mental health challenges effectively.

CPI’s Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer, Carlyne Stewart, emphasized the importance of creating a safe environment where men can openly discuss mental health issues.

The initiative aims to foster genuine conversations and raise awareness about the mental health struggles men face in various aspects of their lives, including the workplace and home.

Training Director Adrian Clarke highlighted the significant influence of culture on the perception of mental health among men.

He noted that cultural norms have historically shaped the behaviors and attitudes of men in the country, often leading to a reluctance to seek help for mental health issues.

Clarke stressed the importance of redefining male leadership and encouraging men to embrace mental well-being.

The “Men’s Mental Health” program is designed to provide a supportive platform where men can engage in meaningful discussions about mental health without the fear of judgment.

This initiative is part of CPI’s broader effort to promote mental health awareness and support within the Guyanese community.

Individuals interested in participating in the program can contact Clarke’s Productions Inc. at 659 9596 for more information.
