As the government nears the end of its fourth year in office, several citizens have publicly acknowledged the positive impact of various programs and policies implemented during this period.

George Gravesande, who had applied for a house lot in 1979 but subsequently migrated, recently received his long-awaited property upon returning to Guyana.

This development is attributed to the government’s housing policy, which has facilitated the realization of his long-held dream of homeownership.

Additionally, Diana Porte, a senior citizen, praised the consistent increases in Old Age Pension over the past four years.

She noted that the pension has been a substantial aid for her family, particularly her six grandchildren.

Nandanie Seodatt highlighted the benefits of the Women Innovation and Investment Network (WIIN) program.

She credited the program with enabling her to balance work and studies effectively, contributing significantly to her career advancement.

In a broader overview, PPP General Secretary and Vice President Dr. Bharrat Jagdeo reported that the government has delivered on over 90 percent of its manifesto promises during its term in office.
