In Linden, the ‘Caring for Others Foundation’ (CFO) distributed shoes and socks to hundreds of people as part of their “No Bare Soles” program.
This initiative, spearheaded by Founder Eslene Shockley, aims to provide footwear to those in need, drawing inspiration from Shockley’s own childhood experiences of disadvantage.
Reflecting on the impact of the program, Shockley expressed her satisfaction in being able to uplift individuals and families, offering them a step out of poverty and towards a brighter future.
The distribution reached both young and old residents of Linden, with senior citizens receiving special hampers and tokens of love.
Additionally, fifteen individuals were provided with grass mowers to enhance their livelihoods, showcasing the Foundation’s commitment to supporting various aspects of community well-being.
Beneficiaries expressed their gratitude, with one individual thanking Shockley for recognizing and addressing the needs of Linden residents, particularly emphasizing the significance of the initiative for farmers like himself.
The Caring for Others Foundation is dedicated to combating poverty worldwide, exemplifying its mission through impactful initiatives like the “No Bare Soles” program, which not only provides essential footwear but also fosters a sense of dignity and support within the community.
