An exhibition held at the International Business Conference is highlighting various sectors within the Guyanese economy and attracting potential investors.

The event, taking place at the Marriott Hotel, features businesses from logistics, education, and e-commerce, all looking to expand their influence and attract partnerships within Guyana and the region.

One of the major participants, Marine Services, is presenting Guyana Port Inc. (GPI) as a valuable resource for vessel owners and marine industry professionals.

The company offers a unique dry dock service, boasting the only floating dry dock in the region with a capacity of 2,000 tonnes.

In addition to dry docking, GPI provides shipbuilding, welding, fabrication, dredging, and ship repair services.

Educational company EduPlus is also seeking opportunities to enter the Guyanese market.

The company is actively looking to connect with local school investors to share its expertise in the educational sector. EduPlus representatives have already benefitted from business-to-business meetings at the conference, demonstrating their commitment to expanding educational opportunities within the region.

Nogosari, an e-commerce enterprise, is focused on becoming a connector within the region, especially supporting small to medium-sized enterprises.

Their services aim to stimulate economic growth in both Guyana and Suriname, facilitating smoother market entry and expansion for businesses on both sides of the border.

This exhibition provides an essential platform for Guyanese and international companies to explore partnerships, foster cross-border collaboration, and build connections that can support economic development in the region.
