The 2024 International Building Expo is set to provide significant opportunities for prospective homeowners, with the distribution of 2,000 house lots and 1,000 certificates of title during the event.
This announcement was made by Susan Rodrigues, Minister within the Ministry of Housing and Water, as she toured the venue preparations earlier today.
The expo, scheduled to run from August 8 to 11 at the Providence Stadium, marks the third consecutive year it will be hosted at this location.
Under the theme “Building on the Foundation of Sustainability and Unity,” the event aims to highlight the crucial role of the housing sector in fostering a unified and sustainable future for Guyana.
Minister Rodrigues emphasized that this year’s expo will feature over 300 exhibitors, including local, regional, and international companies from the US, China, and Africa.
The event will also showcase the unveiling of the first phase of the Celica City master plan on Saturday.
The previous expo attracted approximately 100,000 visitors, and this year’s event is expected to draw even larger crowds, with all small business and executive spots fully booked, including outdoor booths.
Rodrigues invited the public to attend the expo and take advantage of the various opportunities available, including the distribution of house lots and certificates of title.
