The British Chamber of Commerce Guyana (BritCham Guyana) will bring its flagship annual Gala Dinner to Guyana for the first time on Wednesday, 25th November 2026, as part of a special week of activities celebrating the growing commercial relationship between Guyana & the United Kingdom.
Following successful BritCham Guyana events at two iconic British sporting venues, Lord’s Cricket Ground in London in 2024 and Chelsea Football Club in 2025, the Chamber will this year bring its main annual gathering home to Guyana, during the year of the country’s 60th Anniversary of Independence.
The Gala Dinner will be hosted at the brand new Four Points by Sheraton in Georgetown, bringing together BritCham members, business leaders, investors, partners, suppliers, customers, government and diplomatic stakeholders, the Guyanese diaspora, friends & families from Guyana, the United Kingdom and further afield.
The evening will form the centrepiece of a wider BritCham Guyana Week, with a supporting itinerary of business, networking and engagement activities designed to strengthen relationships between the UK and Guyana and showcase opportunities across Guyana’s rapidly developing economy.
Adding to the international focus of the week, BritCham partner, The Caribbean Council, is organizing a UK trade delegation to Guyana, giving a large delegation of British businesses an opportunity to visit the market, establish new relationships & explore commercial opportunities firsthand.
A limited number of places remain available for UK companies interested in joining the trade delegation & exploring Guyana as a market for investment, trade and partnership.
