In a tragic turn of events, the lifeless body of 25-year-old welder Joshua Hardatt was discovered in the backseat of his car, parked on a dam in Letter Kenny Village, Corentyne.
Joshua, a resident of 371 Section ‘B’ Bloomfield Village, had left home around 6:00 PM the previous day, assuring his mother, Lalitta Hardatt, of a swift return.
However, his body was found the next morning by villagers, prompting concerns of foul play.
Lalitta revealed that Joshua had confided in her about being threatened by a known individual.
Her suspicions were further heightened by a strange phone call received the night before, hinting at sinister intentions.
Expressing her anguish, Lalitta recounted her futile attempts to reach Joshua, only to discover his phone turned off.
A subsequent call from an acquaintance abroad alleging foul play deepened her fears.
As investigations continue, the community remains shaken by the tragic loss of a promising young man.
The police are diligently probing the case to unravel the truth behind Joshua Hardatt’s untimely demise.
