Berbice Expo & Trade Fair Set to Open on October 13

Workers in preparatory mode ahead of the opening of ‘Berbice Expo’ tomorrow (Guyana Chronicle).

All systems are go for the commencement of the annual Berbice Expo and Trade Fair, scheduled to kick off on Friday, October 13, at the Rose Hall Community Center Ground.

With over 160 booths already booked, the 17th Edition of the Berbice Exposition and Trade Fair promises to be a bustling event.

Originally slated for the Albion Sports Complex, the venue has been shifted to Rose Hall due to ongoing infrastructural improvements.

Under the theme “Fostering Sustainable Economic Growth and Food Security,” this year’s event aims to highlight critical areas of economic development and food sustainability.

Tajpaul Adjodhea, the Public Relations Officer and Coordinator, provided an overview of the diverse exhibitors, emphasizing strong support for agricultural initiatives.

He noted that the main auditorium, with a capacity for 73 booths, has already been fully booked.

The Berbice Expo and Trade Fair, an annual event organized by the Central Corentyne Chamber of Commerce, serves as a crucial platform for businesses and organizations to showcase their products and services.
