In extreme heat, staying hydrated is paramount for your health.

Dehydration, characterized by a lack of water in the body, can lead to various issues such as thirst, dizziness, fatigue, and even life-threatening conditions like heat stroke.

To combat dehydration during a heatwave, the World Health Organization recommends strategies like cool showers, cold packs, and wearing light, loose-fitting clothes to stay cool.

Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus, Director General of the WHO, emphasizes the importance of staying hydrated to maintain efficient heart function, muscle performance, and overall well-being.

Hydration supports better sleep, cognitive function, energy levels, digestion, and can alleviate aches and pains.
