In the latest action from the Demerara Volleyball Association League, Alphas showcased their dominance by defeating Vanguards in a convincing fashion.
The match saw Alphas assert their dominance right from the start, winning the first set comfortably with a score of 25-11.
Key players such as Joel Cort, Geno Carol, Jonathan Lynch, and Paul Welcome contributed significantly to Alphas’ victory.
Although Vanguards attempted to mount a comeback in the second set, Alphas maintained their composure and secured a 25-20 win.
The third set saw a resilient performance from Alphas as they closed out the match with a commanding 25-11 victory.
With this win, Alphas have climbed to second place on the points table, trailing behind the Guyana Defence Force, who handed them their only loss in the Club League in Game 5.
Alphas previously secured a victory against Castrol Strikers in the opening game of the league.
The league action continues with Eagles facing off against Classic Ball Busters this evening at 8pm.
With their impressive performance, Alphas are solidifying their position as a formidable team in the Demerara Volleyball Association League.
