The Diaspora Unit of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is set to launch an innovative AI platform named Jessie, aimed at providing Guyanese citizens at home and abroad with easy access to essential information about government services.

Developed in collaboration with V75 Inc, this platform marks a significant step forward in enhancing information dissemination and customer service within the public sector.

Rosalinda Rasul, Head of the Diaspora Unit, highlighted the necessity for this development, citing the high demand from the diaspora for information on public services.

Jessie, the AI agent, will cater to various domains, including documents, remigration, housing, investments, and NIS, with plans to incorporate additional agencies in the future.

Eldon Marks, CEO of V75 Inc, emphasized the user-friendly nature of the platform, which can be accessed via WhatsApp and even understands multiple languages and dialects, including Creolese.

He outlined the platform’s future capabilities, including more complex tasks such as retrieving information from government agencies.

The launch of this AI platform represents a significant milestone in leveraging technology to better serve Guyanese citizens worldwide.

With its accessibility and innovative features, Jessie aims to streamline access to government services, fostering greater efficiency and convenience for users.
