Guyana’s premier business exhibition, GuyExpo, has officially been launched, with this year’s event focusing on investment, business growth and creating new opportunities for entrepreneurs.

GuyExpo 2026 will bring together businesses from across the country from November 12 to 15 at the National Exhibition Centre, Sophia.

GuyExpo 2026 is being positioned as more than an exhibition, with businesses expected to use the platform to make connections, find customers and explore new markets.

The event will be held under the theme, “Creating Tomorrow’s Opportunities Through Today’s Investments.”

The expo will also provide opportunities for businesses to connect with potential customers, partners, investors and suppliers.

Meanwhile, Minister of Tourism, Industry and Commerce, Susan Rodrigues says access to finance remains important for micro, small and medium-sized businesses, and points to the Guyana Development Bank as another avenue for entrepreneurs to access financing and business support.

“That is why the Guyana Development Bank is such an important addition to our business landscape. It is intended to provide greater access to financing for entrepreneurs, including financing of up to $3 million, along with technical assistance and business development support,” she said.

GuyExpo has been part of Guyana’s business landscape for three decades, with this year’s event expected to showcase local products, services and investment opportunities. The exhibition runs from November 12 to 15 at the National Exhibition Centre.
