The Guyana National Broadcasting Authority (GNBA) hereby advises that, effective August 17, 2026, it will commence a soft launch of its official GNBA Public WhatsApp Reporting Line.

This reporting line is intended to provide members of the public with an accessible and official channel through which they may report alleged broadcast infractions. Reports will be limited to concerns relating to radio and television content involving vulgar, lewd, or profane language.

Upon initiating contact, users will receive an automated response which will guide them through the reporting process and outline the specific information required to submit a complaint. Please note that reports submitted through this platform may relate directly to your programming and broadcast content.

All reports received via the WhatsApp Reporting Line will be assessed and managed in accordance with the Authority’s established regulatory procedures, as well as the relevant provisions of the Broadcasting Act of 2011, Broadcasting (Amendment) Bill 2017 and the GNBA’s Guidelines for Broadcasters.
