A dazzling display of culture, skill, and international friendship lit up the lawns of State House on Friday night, as the world-renowned Hebei acrobatic troupe from China delivered a spectacular performance in Guyana.

Under the night sky, the show opened with a striking lion dance that immediately captured the audience’s attention. From there, the troupe showcased a fast-paced sequence of world-class acts including contortion routines, precision hoop dives through stacked rings, and gravity-defined handstands on narrow props.

President Dr. Irfaan Ali welcomed the world-renowned troupe, stating that Guyana is honoured to host the performers, whose performance kicks off a nationwide tour.

“Tonight, we come together in anticipation, excitement, and admiration. We look forward to an unforgettable experience, one that will dazzle the eye, lift the spirit, and strengthen the friendship between Guyana and China,” he said.
