Royal International Hotel has partnered with the fifth annual KFC Goodwill International Schools Football League, which is set to begin on Sunday, December 15, at the Ministry of Education Ground.
The tournament, first launched in 2018, aims to provide meaningful competition for top local school football talent while incorporating regional teams to enhance exposure.
Teams from Trinidad and Tobago, Suriname, and Guyana will compete alongside defending champions Clarendon College from Jamaica, who claimed the 2023 title with an unbeaten record and a 2-1 victory over Trinidad and Tobago’s St. Benedict College in the final.
At the tournament’s presentation ceremony, Troy Mendonca, co-director of the Petra Organization, expressed gratitude for the support from Royal International Hotel.
He highlighted the hotel’s contribution as pivotal to the development of the tournament and ensuring its success at a high level.
This year, Royal International Hotel will host the Clarendon College team members, emphasizing its commitment to fostering regional collaboration and the growth of school football.
The KFC Goodwill International Schools Football League continues to promote top-tier competition while providing young athletes with opportunities to develop their skills on an international stage.
