Julio Sinclair, the Central American and Caribbean (CAC) gold medalist, has finally clinched the coveted Mr. Guyana Senior Bodybuilding title after years of near-misses.
The victory came after a strong performance in the super heavyweight category, where he comfortably defeated Nicholas Blair before advancing to the final showdown for the overall title.
In the final pose down, Sinclair faced off against top competitors including Sylvan Gardner, Anthony McLean, Nicholas Albert, Orlando Dublin, and Shemar Burrowes.
With his impressive physique, Sinclair ultimately captured the national bodybuilding crown.
In other categories, Unity Gym’s Anthony McClean triumphed in the masters category, outshining Lindon Burnett and Sylvan Gardner.
Shemar Burrowes secured the bantamweight title, with Trisson Harte and Donald Lindie taking second and third, respectively.
Sylvan Gardner claimed victory in the lightweight division, while CAC 2023 pro-card winner Nicholas Albert took the top spot in the light heavyweight class, defeating Bryan Singh and Linden Burnett.
Anthony McClean also took home the middleweight title, with Daniel Latchman and Seon Budhan securing second and third places.
Romelton Siland won the men’s fitness class, while Jamal Pollydore emerged as the Junior Physique Class winner.
The most competitive category, the men’s physique, saw pro athlete Emmerson Campbell dominate the stage, finishing in first place, followed by Jonathan Jeffrey and Marley Vyphuis.
In the women’s divisions, CAC medalist Christina Ramsammy claimed the Miss Bikini title, and Hannah Rampersaud was crowned Ms Bikini Wellness champion.
The event highlighted the growing talent in Guyana’s bodybuilding scene, with competitors showcasing their dedication and discipline in the sport.
